Become a Physiotherapist

Physio-net receives many e-mails from people all over the world asking about requirements for courses, and undergraduate or postgraduate programs which are available in physiotherapy/physical therapy. There are many options available for study, and different educational institutions will offer different programs. There are also differences between countries in terms the requirements for both entry into courses and for gaining approval or registration to practise as a therapist.

As a result, Physio-net is limited in its ability to provide specific information. Instead we can attempt to give a general overview of what is available and what is required to register as a physiotherapist or gain entry into a university program. At present this information is available for Australia only. More countries will be added soon.
